To share three picture of the night view of Kek Lok Si Temple which I received from CLAAiNA (a group of Chung Ling Old Boy association from Canada)

Balik Pulau (part 6) /浮罗山背(6)

This Chatolic church is located at Balik Pulau main road, as you come from Paya Terubong hill (that is Jalan Tun Sardon) until the junction of Balik Pulau town, you turn to your right side, about 100 meter. It was built at the year 1854, it is 145 years old. 这天主教堂是位于浮罗山背市镇，建于1845年，已有145年历史，是其中一间最大间的教堂。

This is another part of the above church, it was built later at the year 1930 . 这是教堂的另一部分，它建于1930年。

Balik Pulau (part 5) /浮罗山背(5)

这是浮罗山背出名的槟城小食-- 叻沙，位于大街，面对着从垄尾山新路。有两种味道 -- 酸辣和椰浆。

This is the typical Penang hawker food -- Laksa, it is located at the Balik Pulau main road, at the junction of the road from the Paya Terubong hill slope.

浮罗山背的交通圈是由一个喷水池及纪念碑组成。由于年久失修喷水池现在已喷不出水了。 This is the round about at Balik Pulau, there is a fountain.


The following two pictures show the main road and the town of Balik Pulau. 随着的照片为为浮罗山背的主要通道及它的城镇。它给人一个宁静，与世无争的感觉。如果可以不妨花一天的时间到那去走走，享受那里的气氛。

This is one of the typical malay kampong (village) house. 这是一间传统的马来高脚屋。


根据当地居民这间屋子最少已有七八十年历史了。According to the villagers this house at least seventy years old.


这是其中一间保留完美的高脚楼。This is one of the nice and good condition kampong house.
