139 years old Baobab tree

This tree is located at the junction of Jalan Residensi and Jalan Macalister, near to the Penang General Hospitla. It is a Baobab tree, planted in the year 1871 by Captain Speedy. It is 139 years old. I think this should be the oldest tree plant in the centre of the city.

著名咖哩麵 (famous carry mee)

此乃檳城亞依淡菜市場旁的出名的咖哩麵﹐營業時間是星期二至星期天﹐中午二時至五時左右。吃了熱辣辣的咖哩麵再來一碗冰涼的紅豆雪或椰子水﹐嘩﹗那種爽可真難以筆墨形容。

Hill top Indian Temple

This is the highest Indian temple in Penang . It is not because of the building heights, but it is lacated at the top of Penang Hill.

The 4th picture shown the North Eastern part of Penang Island. the tallest building is KOMTAR.

Balik Pulau (part 6) /浮罗山背(6)

This Chatolic church is located at Balik Pulau main road, as you come from Paya Terubong hill (that is Jalan Tun Sardon) until the junction of Balik Pulau town, you turn to your right side, about 100 meter. It was built at the year 1854, it is 145 years old. 这天主教堂是位于浮罗山背市镇，建于1845年，已有145年历史，是其中一间最大间的教堂。

This is another part of the above church, it was built later at the year 1930 . 这是教堂的另一部分，它建于1930年。

Balik Pulau (part 5) /浮罗山背(5)

这是浮罗山背出名的槟城小食-- 叻沙，位于大街，面对着从垄尾山新路。有两种味道 -- 酸辣和椰浆。

This is the typical Penang hawker food -- Laksa, it is located at the Balik Pulau main road, at the junction of the road from the Paya Terubong hill slope.
